In the competitive game of basketball, the difference between winning and losing is a team’s ability to gain the extra edge on their opponents. Whether it is rebounding, shooting, dribbling, passing, or overall cooridination and quickness; training with Acceleration Indiana will help you gain the winning edge. These programs were developed to help athletes improve their quickness, jumping ability, power, speed, agility, strength, and confidence to improve their game. Basketball athletes who participate in the Athletic Republic program train with the most advanced technology available today.
Acceleration Indiana’s Programs are designed to improve:
* Acceleration, speed, and quickness
* Multi-directional movements for explosive, quick moves
* Body coordination and balance for better execution on the basketball court
* Strength and vertical jumping ability
Acceleration Indiana Basketball Programs
We begin by pre testing you to baseline your quickness, foot speed, agility, jump height, sprint times, and flexibility. Each program is then tailored to each athlete’s age and ability. Each training session begins with an active dynamic warm-up procedure to get your body ready for your workouts. Programs take six to eight weeks. Sessions are typically one hour and fifteen minutes, two to three times per week.
* Beginning Acceleration Program (ages 10 and below) – 14 sessions
* Pre H.S. Acceleration Program (ages 11 to 14/15) – 18 sessions
* Full H.S. Acceleration Program (ages 15/16 and up) – 21 sessions
* Collegiate/Pro – Call us so we can discuss a program specific to your needs
Optional Programs may be scheduled concurrent with above program or seperately.
* Defensive Slide & Backward Sprinting – 6-12 sessions/1 hr each (1-2/week)
* Shooting Accuracy and Range – 12 sessions/.5 hr each (2/week)
* Passing/Dribbling Ball Skills – 12 sessions/.5 hr each (2/week)
* Strength Programs (lower, core, and upper body) – 2-3 sessions/week
* In Season/Maintenance – 6 or more/1 hr each (1/week)
* Flexibility – Assisted stretching at each session
